Welcome to Boom Arts Academy Ltd.
By registering with Boom Arts Academy Ltd through Class4Kids, booking classes or activities, purchasing tickets or merchandise, or participating in any Academy class, workshop, holiday camp, examination, competition, rehearsal, performance or event, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions apply to all students, parents, guardians and adult participants.
1. REGISTRATION & CLASS4KIDS ACCOUNT

1.1 Registration
All students must be registered through the official Boom Arts Academy Class4Kids booking system before attending any class, workshop, holiday camp, rehearsal, competition, examination, performance or Academy event.

1.2 Parent Responsibility
Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring that all information held within their Class4Kids account is accurate, complete and kept up to date at all times.

1.3 Updating Information
Parents/guardians must immediately update their Class4Kids account and notify Boom Arts Academy Ltd of any changes to:

1.4 Emergency Information
Boom Arts Academy Ltd will rely upon the information held within the Class4Kids booking system during emergencies.
Boom Arts Academy Ltd cannot accept responsibility for delays, safeguarding concerns or medical issues arising from inaccurate, incomplete or outdated information supplied by parents or guardians.

1.5 Emergency Contacts
Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring that emergency contacts remain available and contactable whilst their child attends Academy activities.
​
2. HEALTH & MEDICAL INFORMATION
Parents/guardians must disclose all medical information that may affect participation.
This includes, but is not limited to:

Parents must notify Boom Arts Academy Ltd immediately if any medical circumstances change.
Boom Arts Academy Ltd reserves the right to restrict or refuse participation where staff reasonably believe participation may place the participant or others at risk.

3. MEDICATION
Parents/guardians are responsible for supplying any medication required during Academy activities.
​
Medication must:

Be clearly labelled.

Be in date.
-
Be provided in its original packaging.
-
Be handed directly to a member of staff where requested.

Parents authorise trained staff to administer prescribed emergency medication (such as inhalers or EpiPens) where appropriate.

4. FITNESS TO PARTICIPATE
Parents/guardians confirm that the participant is medically fit to participate.

Parents agree to notify Boom Arts Academy Ltd immediately of any illness or injury affecting participation.

5. ASSUMPTION OF RISK & LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
​
Parents and participants acknowledge that dance, theatre, acrobatics and performance activities involve an inherent risk of accidental injury despite appropriate supervision, safeguarding procedures and risk assessments.
By participating, parents and participants voluntarily accept these inherent risks.
Boom Arts Academy Ltd is committed to providing a safe learning environment through qualified teachers, appropriate supervision, safeguarding procedures and regular risk assessments.

Except where caused by the negligence of Boom Arts Academy Ltd or where liability cannot legally be excluded, Boom Arts Academy Ltd, its directors, employees, teachers, volunteers, licensed chaperones, contractors and venue providers shall not be liable for any injury, accident, illness, loss, damage, delay, expense or inconvenience arising from participation in Academy activities.

Nothing within these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or any liability that cannot legally be excluded under the laws of England and Wales.

6. FIRST AID & EMERGENCY TREATMENT
Parents authorise Boom Arts Academy Ltd to:

Administer appropriate first aid.

Contact emergency services where required.
-
Administer emergency medication where appropriate.
-
Share relevant medical information with emergency services where necessary.
​
Parents agree to remain contactable whilst their child is attending Academy activities.
​
​
7. SUPERVISION
Boom Arts Academy Ltd provides supervision only during advertised class, rehearsal, workshop, camp, competition, examination and performance times.
Parents/guardians remain responsible for participants before sign-in and after collection.
Children must be collected promptly.
Late collection charges may apply where applicable.

8. ATTENDANCE
Regular attendance is expected.
For examinations, competitions and theatre productions, attendance at rehearsals may be compulsory.

Boom Arts Academy Ltd reserves the right to:

Amend choreography.
-
Reallocate parts.
-
Withdraw participants from performances.
-
Decline examination or competition entries.
​
where attendance is insufficient or participation may compromise health, safety or the quality of the production.
​
​
9. BEHAVIOUR
Participants are expected to:

Follow staff instructions.
-
Behave respectfully.
-
Treat fellow students fairly.
-
Respect Academy venues and equipment.
​
Boom Arts Academy Ltd reserves the right to suspend or remove participants whose behaviour places themselves or others at risk or significantly disrupts Academy activities.
​
​
10. SAFEGUARDING
Boom Arts Academy Ltd follows UK safeguarding legislation and recognised best practice.
Only authorised Boom Arts Academy staff, licensed chaperones, approved volunteers and theatre personnel may supervise children backstage.
Parents are not permitted backstage unless specifically authorised.
Children must remain within designated performer areas.
All safeguarding decisions made by Boom Arts Academy Ltd are final.

11. PHOTOGRAPHY & FILMING
Photographs and video recordings may be taken during Academy activities.
These may be used for:

Marketing
-
Website
-
Social media
-
Promotional material
-
Educational purposes
Where parents request that their child is not featured, Boom Arts Academy Ltd will make reasonable efforts to accommodate this. However, exclusion cannot be guaranteed during public performances or audience photography.​

12. PERSONAL PROPERTY
All belongings should be clearly labelled.
Boom Arts Academy Ltd accepts no responsibility for the loss, theft or damage of any personal belongings brought to classes, rehearsals, performances or events, including but not limited to clothing, footwear, jewellery, watches, mobile phones, electronic devices, money, costumes or other valuables.
Participants bring personal belongings entirely at their own risk.

13. COSTUMES, UNIFORMS & PROPS
Academy property remains the property of Boom Arts Academy Ltd unless purchased.
Parents may be charged the full replacement cost of costumes, uniforms, props or equipment that are lost, intentionally damaged or not returned.

14. SHOWS, PERFORMANCES & THEATRE PRODUCTIONS
Participation in Academy productions is voluntary.
Once accepted into a production, participants agree to:

Attend all compulsory rehearsals.
-
Follow instructions from teachers, stage management and licensed chaperones.
-
Arrive at allocated call times.
-
Wear the required costumes and uniform.
-
Comply with all theatre health and safety procedures.
Boom Arts Academy Ltd reserves the right to amend choreography, casting, running orders or performance schedules where necessary.
Performance arrangements may change due to operational, safeguarding or venue requirements.

15. BACKSTAGE
Only authorised personnel may enter backstage areas.
Parents and spectators must remain within public areas unless authorised.
Failure to comply may result in removal from the venue.
​
16. EXAMINATIONS & COMPETITIONS
Entries are subject to the rules of the relevant awarding organisation or competition organiser.
Fees become non-refundable once submitted unless otherwise agreed by the organiser.
Boom Arts Academy Ltd accepts no responsibility for timetable changes or decisions made by third-party organisations.

17. PAYMENTS
All payments must be made via the official Class4Kids booking system or directly to Boom Arts Academy Ltd using an approved payment method.
Fees may include, but are not limited to:

Monthly subscriptions

Class fees
-
Holiday camps
-
Workshops
-
Competitions
-
Examination fees
-
Show participation fees
-
Theatre tickets
-
Merchandise
-
Uniform
-
Costumes
Monthly subscriptions continue until cancelled in accordance with the Academy’s published notice period.
Late or failed payments may result in suspension from classes or Academy activities.
Outstanding balances must be paid before participation in examinations, competitions, performances or other Academy events.

18. CANCELLATIONS
Boom Arts Academy Ltd reserves the right to cancel, postpone or rearrange classes or events due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including staff illness, venue closures, severe weather or emergencies.
Where appropriate, replacement classes or credits may be offered at the Academy’s discretion.​

19. REFUNDS
Unless required by law:

Class fees are non-refundable.

Subscription payments are non-refundable.

Holiday camps are non-refundable.
-
Workshops are non-refundable.
-
Competition fees are non-refundable once entered.
-
Examination fees are non-refundable once submitted.
-
Theatre tickets are non-refundable.
-
Merchandise and personalised items are non-refundable unless faulty.

20. FORCE MAJEURE
Boom Arts Academy Ltd shall not be liable for delays, cancellations or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including severe weather, pandemics, government restrictions, industrial action, transport disruption, venue closures or utility failures.

21. DATA PROTECTION
Personal information is processed in accordance with UK data protection legislation and the Boom Arts Academy Privacy Policy.
Medical information will only be shared where necessary for safeguarding or emergency medical treatment.

22. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.​​​

ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By registering through Class4Kids, making any payment to Boom Arts Academy Ltd, booking classes, workshops, holiday camps, examinations, competitions, performances or theatre productions, parents/guardians and adult participants confirm that:

They have read and understood these Terms and Conditions.

They agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

They acknowledge the inherent risks associated with dance, theatre and physical performance activities.

They consent to participation in Academy activities.

They understand that Boom Arts Academy Ltd will rely upon the information held within their Class4Kids account.

They accept responsibility for keeping their Class4Kids account accurate and up to date at all times.

They understand that submission of any online registration, booking or consent form constitutes their electronic acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.​​

Participation IN BOOM ARTS ACADEMY CLASSES, CAMPS AND PERFORMANCES FOR EVENTS AND STAGE, Health & Assumption of Risk​
Boom Arts Academy Ltd provides dance, musical theatre, acro, tumble, gymnastics-based movement, fitness and performance training in a safe and supervised environment. Parents/guardians acknowledge that participation in these activities involves an inherent risk of injury. These risks may include, but are not limited to, slips, trips, falls, muscle strains, sprains, fractures, dislocations, impact injuries and other injuries that may naturally occur during physical activity.

By enrolling a child at Boom Arts Academy Ltd, the parent or legal guardian confirms that:

Their child is physically fit to participate in the classes they have enrolled in.

They have disclosed any medical conditions, injuries, allergies or additional needs that may affect participation.

They will immediately inform Boom Arts Academy Ltd of any changes to their child's health or medical condition.
-
They understand that while all classes are delivered by appropriately trained instructors following recognised safety procedures, no physical activity can be completely risk-free.

They voluntarily accept the normal and foreseeable risks associated with participation in dance, acro, tumble and all other physical activities provided by Boom Arts Academy Ltd.

Boom Arts Academy Ltd will take all reasonable steps to provide a safe environment, suitable equipment and qualified instruction. However, except where caused by the negligence of Boom Arts Academy Ltd or where liability cannot legally be excluded under the laws of England and Wales, Boom Arts Academy Ltd shall not be responsible for injuries or losses arising from the ordinary and inherent risks associated with participation in classes, rehearsals, workshops, performances, competitions or related activities.
Parents remain responsible for ensuring that their child follows all safety instructions given by teachers. Failure to follow instructions may result in a child being asked to sit out or leave an activity where safety could be compromised.

Show Participation Fee*
To enable us to deliver a high-quality, professional theatre production, I understand that a Show Participation Fee of £17.00 per performer is payable.
This fee is a contribution towards the additional costs associated with producing the show, including (but not limited to):

Additional rehearsals and rehearsal venue costs
-
Teaching and choreography time outside of normal classes
-
Production planning and administration
-
Show staffing and backstage support
-
General production expenses required to ensure the event runs safely and professionally
I understand that this fee is separate from normal class fees, costume costs and theatre tickets and is a non-refundable contribution towards the production costs once paid, except where required by law.
