EXAMS
100% pass rate - 7 years running with 100% Honours with over 200 students at Boom arts Academy participating in exams.
We are currently the only performing arts school in London that offer ISTD street dance and disco freestyle accredited exams to our students in and out of the curriculum. We also offer exams in break dance. These exams are certified by the ISTD (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing) and are highly recognized.
ISTD belongs to the Imperial Society of Teacher of Dance. It is a worldwide dance and teachers organisation. ​
About exams
Each exam is designed to be fun and low-pressure
The reason we encourage students to take these exams is that we see significant improvements in their dance skills, their performance levels, and their overall confidence.

Children participate in exams individually or in pairs, with their class teacher in the room with them. The exams are marked similarly to a medal test, allowing students to progress through levels with each exam.
​
Our teachers have already achieved the highest qualifications within the ISTD and are certified to teach Street Dance, Break dance and Freestyle.
We also offer Lamda acting exams (the London academy of Music and Dramatic Arts) that can be accredited as UCAS points when you reach Grade 6 level.
